Job titles were swapped for permission-based roles in the scheduling app, and the diff shows that the seeding step run on every staff listing rewrites any edit to a built-in role, alongside non-atomic writes, no last-admin guard, and a few access changes I can't swear I meant.

An evening of agent changes kept guessing at sizes for my staff schedule printout, then produced a fixed shrink and a measured shrink for the same element. The merge kept only the measured one, and I can't say whether that was on purpose.
