A lineage report that balances to the unit yet refuses to call it a match

A package lineage report for the stores' books keys packages by lot, not product code, runs its scary checks before the arithmetic, and leaves cost totals empty rather than guess, and along the way it turned up that my search had been filing the product code as a barcode.
